Semetis develops its rich media content

BRUSSELS, 1 September 2010 – Search and web analytics agency Semetis today announced the launch of a new interactive marketing concept, a premiere on the Belgian market.

Semetis channel on YouTube is fully dedicated to video content related to search marketing and web analytics. In the past, Semetis had already posted more than 20 videos with useful information and tips. As from now, Semetis will post video tutorials on a weekly basis on its YouTube brand channel.

Starting 1 September 2010, one new video tutorial will be released every week. The tutorials will present best practices, tips and tricks, how to’s and advice about web marketing (covering the three pillars of its magical triangle: search engine advertising, search engine optimization and web analytics). These short videos are dedicated to a wide range of viewers, from beginners to experts around the globe.

By developing its brand channel, Semetis wants to expand its experience and expertise in the optimization and positioning of rich media on the web. This new service will first be evaluated with live feedback and then, in a second step, monetized – a strategy often used in interactive marketing. Semetis also places great importance in the evangelization of search marketing and web analytics in Belgium and abroad.

Kelly Halfin, Account Manager at Semetis believes that “video content will play an increasing role in the future” and that “our objective is to understand completely every part of it, from the conceptual and technical production to the release strategies”.

Pauline Grégoire, Account Manager at Semetis adds that “it has been really exciting to work on this project since this new type of service aims at communicating about web marketing and what we do at Semetis to a large audience around the world”.
