Google naming blogs in news, but what's a blog?In interesting find yesterday by WebProNews. It seems as if Google is explicitly 'naming' blogs in Google News. When searching for specific terms Google puts (blog) next to the publications name. It looks like a test from Google on this issue. Webpronews rightfully poses the question: what is classified as a blog? ![]() CommentRelated tweets

Maybe Google is planning to let users filter on blogs? Or better, to let them skip the blogs? If I want to search blogs I can use Google Blog search. In Google News, I only want major news sources. But I guess not everyone will agree with this. So to have a choice would be best.
