Yet another search aggregator or more? Q&A with Leapfish

There must be hundreds, if not thousands of search aggregators around on the web. One is just using Google data, the other one is combining Google, Bing and Yahoo and a third will add real time search by integrating Twittersearch. Sometimes these aggregators are useful, sometimes useless.

A searchengine which appeared to be 'just another aggregator' is Leapfish. But this one seems a bit different, if only because it 'looks professional' (which most don't). But according to Leapfish' Ben Behrouzi Leapfish isn't just another one of the many aggregators. It was about time to do a Q&A with him to find out what is different about Leapfish.... read more

Remember Cuil? The search engine which was going to 'kill' Google but never did? Well they do still exist. And again, they are claiming they will be "it".

Tags, how important are they?

Everybody uses tags. The keywords which describe the content of page and which make it possible to organize content easier. It can be a usefull tool for measuring and controling your online marketing activities. And thats where Tagman focusses on.

Yahoo shows decline in revenues

It's that time of the Quarter again where the companies who are on the stock exchange show us their Quarterly figures. Earlier this week Google announced its profit-rise. Yesterday it was Yahoo! who was up. Yahoo however showed a lot less impressive numbers than Google did.

Yahoo presented a 1.108 billion Euros, wich was decrease of 13 percent from the second quarter of 2008. The numbers didn't look pretty, but Yahoo still feels confident.... read more

It's the transfer period in Europe. Players are changing football teams almost daily now. The transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United to Real Madrid was probably the most talked about. The most remarkable one was spotted yesterday by Hit Search on Bing: Bruce Lee to Sunderland.
