Paid search – Campaign setting

As I mentioned before Baidu campaigns differ from Google campaigns in various aspects. This time I will explain the campaign settings in detail.

The account structure of Baidu is the same as Google, but look at the maximum number of campaigns and ad groups; the account can be larger than Google. See below:

The price setting is the same with Google; you only need to pay for each click.
Price per click = Ad rank to beat/quality score +0.01
Then we go to the Baidu campaign management platform. Below is the first page when logging in the Baidu management platform.

Choose location:

Ad creation:

The different Baidu ad formats have already been mentioned in the previous post. Want to take a look again? Go to: Baidu paid search -- Ad format
Ad group page:

On the ad group page detailed information such as click, cpc, and campaign status can be viewed and edited.
This has been a the general introduction on how to launch campaigns in Baidu. In the next post I will focus on other important factors of Baidu paid search.
